The plants in the Gardens are very beautiful, I think what they ship will be equally high quality.

Not much of a cactus and succulent guy, but their cactus and succulent garden area is fabulous.

But! And it is for real, I observed several times how they treat wild fig seedlings: as the worst weed ever. They pull the unwanted plants and throw them onto their small golf cart size trucks, if you check the content, it is about 90% figs.

Outside the Huntington the figs are plentiful though.

Thanks for posting this. I don't travel to west coast often, but back in '84, this place was a highlight of the trip. Even if you don't like cacti, it's a good and worthwhile stop (and there is more to see than just the pricklies).
