OT: NBA Finals Anyone?

Any basketball fans here? Whats your prediction? I got the Heat in 7!!! Im from Texas but San Antonio is a huge rival for the Htown Rockets so I have a hard time pulling for the Spurs. Not only that, Lebron is the man!!! Hard to bet against him!

I'll bet you two of my Celestes to one of your BT's that Lebron does not play tonight.
I'll even throw in a gallon sized Ziploc bag of perlite.

My prediction: after the series is over, none of them play hustle defense until the payoffs next year.

Rafed, Ill take that bet! Ill pm you my address asap!

Barnhardt, they play hustle defense when there is 4 min lefts in the 4th quarter. They just try to stay close until then. The last 4 min usually decides the out come.

Spurs in six! They should have beat the Heat last year in six. Instead they lost in seven.

He sure can shoot the 3-ball.

He is a beast! Did you see him get off the floor last game and throw it down? I was worried he would break his hip on the landing!

Lol! He's been around for a long time.

Hey Rob,

Where will LeBron be playing next year? Maybe Cleveland again?

I dont know. If they win this year I dont see any reason to leave really. Dwade still has some in the tank and Chris Bosh can step up to fill in for Wade if he really starts to fizzle next season. Hard to say....I think he should come to Houston and play with Howard and the Beard!

Talk about someone who never lived up to all the hype. Dwight Howard thinks he's better than he really is.
On the other hand James Harden is a good player.

Brown Turkey? Celeste? Super widely available! Someone needs to raise the stakes, no? I'll bet an Emerald Strawberry (143-36) cutting in fall on either team or both. (If pressed, the Heat.) Cultivar negotiable...

This is what I'm looking to chance for, some of the most hardy cultivars mainly:

GM #11, Abruzzi, LaRadek's English BT, Hanc's Eastern BT, Danny's Delight (brown), Sweet (Susser) George, Marius unknown Negretta, Malone, Macool, Mavra Sika, Saint Rita, Hardy Hartford, Rosetta, Hardy Pittsburgh

Agreed, Howard has not worked on his game enough to meet his physical potential. He may be the most well put together athlete in the world with all the tools and then some to dominate the game. But he doesnt!?!?!? I dont under stand it! Hes to busy cracking jokes and dancing to take the game that serious. Harden is a top 5 player in the league IMO. He has his ups and downs but 80% of the time hes on point! We need a real point guard and a good 6th man and were championship bound I think.

Tony, not really understanding your bet?

Just saying that I think the Heat is the team to beat but that I would bet against/for either team if the stakes were right, that is, per my cultivar list above. After all, it's very easy and very compelling to risk losing part of a cultivar, if what is to be possibly gained is an entirely new cultivar. Figs aside, I like significant aspects of both teams, so it's easy to be happy with whichever team wins here. The high team emphasis play of the Spurs, very nice. The super-superstars of the Heat, very nice. I appreciate what some of these players do off the court too. Throw in figs, and you've got kind of a potential win-win-win situation.

Where you at Rafed?

I was close. Looks like Spurs in 5.

LOL, man I thought the Heat would put up a better fight than that!!! I bet James is gone after that whooping they just took.

I heard Houston might be getting Carmelo! Maybe it's our turn to make some noise?

Every NBA team should take noted on how to play the game from watching the Spurs. They put on a clinic of TEAM bball. All I can say is WOW!!! Probably the best bball I've seen played before!

I agree, and a real point guard would be nice!
