Always on the lookout for new plants to kill....so, I decided to get something really exotic.  Just Google the Latin name, and you will see photos of this beautiful tree.  I am surprised that this tree is not commonly found in Florida nurseries.  At my age, I usually do a thorough search then buy established, plants.... and shy away from sowing seeds.  Why?  I ain't gettin' any younger....Tick-Tock.  However, I can find no sources for 1-5 gallon plants, so, I bought some seeds.

I need some sowing instructions.  Anyone have a clue as to how to sow seeds for this exotic flowering tree?  Seeds are very tiny.

My guess: 
Sow seeds on damp, milled-Sphagnum or, Coconut Coir, mixed with fine grit, keep in bright area with some bottom warmth.  I will probably use a plastic shoe-box with a clear lid to trap humidity.

This will be a first time for me, sowing this seed.  I never knew this tree existed until a few weeks ago. I usually get some good germination with the different seeds that I sow...like when I sowed 400 'Sea Grape' seeds, and 350 germinated!  (I had to pot the seedlings up, and I gave the plants to local schools).

PS   ....I need to get a life!
