OT: New Dorp HomeGoods

For the locals, we saw that the New Dorp HomeGoods has many kinds of fig preserves from Italy and Portugal this weekend.

For the not so locals "The God Father" was filmed in New Dorp Statin Island, NY.

Real deal here folks.

Go there, take your family.. Lots of fun. TJ Maxx on the other side. Main strip has a lot of good looking italian restaurants.

TJ Maxx, Home Goods and Marshal's are all owned by the same company, I have found nice fig perseveres and dried figs at all of them.

I also picked up a couple of fig preserves from TJ Maxx not too long ago.  Lots of mixes to choose from.

That Home Goods is one of my favorites. I am about 5 minutes away from there.
They have a nice selection of unique things.
