OT New pics of the puppy

Here she is!  These were taken a few weeks ago - she has been keeping me busy AND helping me keep my sanity lol

She will be 7 months this weekend and is a very good puppy.  We took 2 sets of puppy training plus an introduction to agility!  She went through the tunnel on her own after 3 times of being prompted with treats.

She loves the trainer we go to - she'd leave me in a NY minute for her! LOL  That's OK because I know she's coming home with me at the end of the night.

Of course she is curious about everything, and I have been able to curb her curiosity away from the garden and fig  trees - so far.

I'm sure as she gets older and matures a bit I will have some more time for figs and gardening - she might be content to just hang out and relax while I do my thing, right now she is resting under the table behind me, so cute!

What a cutie!!!  What is her name?  I miss my dog.  Maybe someday I'll be lucky enough to get another.  Enjoy your pup!!

Her name is Luce - it means bright light in Italian (according to the dictionary lol) .  She is a Miniature Poodle and weighs in about 10lb. 8 oz.  (2 weeks ago)  Hopefully she won't get much bigger, I think she is perfect! :)

She is my first dog as an adult - when I was a kid Mom took care of them!  It has been a lot more time and work then expected - especially since Glenn hasn't been helping much with her. Since I don't speak puppy, everything has taken longer then I thought - at least the potty training has.

The trainer was thrilled to have her in class and used her as a "demo" puppy!  It's amazing how quick she picked up on commands.  Any issues with her training are due to my deficiencies - not paying attention if she needs to potty, not being consistent enough, not working with her enough, not fill in the blank.  I really thought Glenn was going to be more involved with her since he's the one who's been wanting a dog for over 10 years!  Oh well, it is what it is - she's stuck with me lol.

Just a little unsolicited advice for anyone who wants a puppy.  Get one about 4  months old and comes potty trained! lol.  Yes she was freak'in cute at 8 weeks but those first 2 months I had her were pretty stressful - especially since I was basically alone.  I barely remember what I did with her through the week between training classes - aside from working that is.
