i really want edelweiss. i think i'll give them a shot. i heard they have hybrid that will survive our weather here in nc. always loved edelweiss, but never thought it would be possible.

Good luck!  My elementary school's theme song was based on 'Edelweiss'.

It doesn't grow in my zone, but here is what Sunset Western Garden Book says.  Perennial, full sun, regular water.  Grows 6-12 inches high and wide with woolly white stems leaves and bracts.  Needs excellent drainage.  It says more, but don't wish to infringe on that copyright stuff........
