Thanks, Rich.  The Old Fashioned always reminds me of my dad.  He'd been a part-time bartender at a buddy's hotel bar after he came home from WWII.  My dad mixing up the old fashioneds when we had the holiday dinners is legendary -- he used ginger ale instead of club soda.  I'll be making them on Thanksgiving myself to keep the tradition going.  Cheers!
