Gin is another ball game.  Not a fan.  But, Bullet, Some people like gin on the rocks with a twist of lime... right?

Margarita Recipe... Shhhhhhhhh

8 oz squeezed fresh lime from the tree in your yard
1 Cup Sugar or Splenda
12 oz water
12 oz 100% Agave Tequila.  Seriously must be 100% Agave
A bottle of Coors light.  Actually any light beer would work.

Yum!  Not much better!  Makes a pitcher!

In my younger years I'd put a shot of gin in a glass of milk. Not the best sounding combo, but I enjoyed it.

raymond chandler.. think it was "the long goodbye". there was a character in the book who was ex-sas. he enjoyed gimlet. i had to try that one. well, i loved it. that's where my gin drinking begun. back right after the school when i first started working, we went to panama city, fl. it was first mtv spring break being held there. went to this joint called salty dogs or something like that. they were servicing something called "f*c*ing willie". half vodka, half rose's lime juice. that thing was amazing. used to take shot of that all night with some of my friend on friday nights. one of the friend was american born friench. yeah.. i know.. how can he be a french when he was born in US. his family is from normandy. they used to own french restaurant in SC somewhere, i forgot.. he used to go to france every summer. fluent in french and awesome cook. back down in atlanta, we used to host dinner night. it was him and i throwing dinner party for bunch of girls. it worked great :) he was good with french food, and i was good with italian. with lot of wine, cognac, and girls.. life used to be so different. one thing i keep telling my kids, girls like man who can cook. 

last call folks. "you don't have to go home, but you can't stay here!" x) 

back about 20 yrs ago, met a girl down by my friend's univ. i was doing my second degree, and she was an english lit phd. candidate. her thesis was about the difference and similarity between t. h. white's "once and the future king" and disney's "sword in the stone". two of my favorites... right after "slapshot" with paul newman (still love henson bros). lovely girl with beautiful eyes. must have been one of the very few girls that i really enjoyed talking to. last time i remember, she was up on a tree having a drink. i went up and we talked about her thesis all night long. after that, my friend and i went down to the main strip and got into a fight with that school's lacrosse team. thank god the cops showed up. it was 5 of us against something like 30 beefy boys with extreme hostility problem.

Gin's a rough sell for me these days. Guess I let my skillz go without practice for too long.

bah... didn't feel like cooking tonight it was kfc hot wings. i need to clean my mouth with some brew.

Man I feel BAD! Working till midnight and have to be back at 8:00AM plus I loose an hour tonight. No Drinking for me! So sad.

if I was off it would be Kentucky Bourbon straight up!!!

i was not around the forum yesterday, Does this happen every Friday night? If so, I want to join the club! LOL! this weekend's drink was Tuaca w/ ginger ale, cranberry juice, and a lime! Yummy!

martin, i used to use chat room a lot back in mid 90s. that thing is addictive. haven't touched it since i have my first son. another round of mead.. and g&t. :) 

no, i'm not working tomorrow. so i'm tanking up. have to deal with contractors tomorrow doing drywalls and painting. i might as well just drink up and never wake up.

ok, it's friday night. 

i have been stressed out for last two weeks. our house needed paint job really bad. we kept the interior more or less neglected since our young boys were.. young. but now they are going on 13, and 10 we think it's time to fix it. what was supposed to be a 5 day job has turned into 2 week project. it finished today. that's the good part. 

another good part is, i was able to move some of the more desirable ones into 3 gal and new ones into 1 gal. 

bad new is i had ton of other cuttings still in the cups. some of them are rather precious to me. from very special forum member and i don't want to lose them. 

gave away Tacoma Violet, Monstrueuse, Salce and few others to local friends and co-workers. hope they grow well. i want to spread some Dominick's Figs here locally.. but i want to make sure they can keep them alive. 

i just finished eating my son's PE project. they are working on healthy diet. it's veggie pizza with tofu. i broke my tooth.. not due to his project. i'm pretty sure it was broken already. big chunk of molar came out trying to dislodge something that felt like stuck in between the teeth. probably will let it ride. 

spent more than i wanted on blueberries and mulberries, but i think they are worth every dime. more fruits and longer season. i'm sick of getting substandard fruits from the supermarket. 

so.... 

had 1 pint of gimlet (2 part tanqueray, and 1 part roes's lime juice.. i like mine with bit of a kick).. and on 3rd pint of Guinness. life is good. i'll sleep like a baby tonight.
