Take care of yourself Dave, I have 2 sons that have had more than one emergency and I have witnessed their pain, not good. So get well soon and have a wonderful new year.

Get well and happy new year

Hope you feel better.

Hope you feel better soon Dave and a very happy new year w/out stones!:)

Hope you are better now. Not playing doc, but drink more water :) they say . Not drinking enough water causes those problems, I heard .
I'm no doc - but drinking water is kind of safe - drinkable water that is . Fig trees drink plenty of water and look at the nice beings that they are :) .

Wish you good health, Wow 12mm that is huge! Get better! Eat more grapes.

I get stones a lot. Biggest I've had so far was a 9mm.
Start drinking water with lemon.

Get well fast, Dave.

WOW, 12 mm is a big one. I hope it is a smooth variety. Get well soon.

Glad your home, I hope you feel better that couldn't have been nice.

Dave: As someone who also has had my share of kidney stones I know your pain and also the great feeling when it stops.  The best advice that my doctor gave me was to drink more beer. He said that it is a great diuretic  and it will flush them out with force and anybody that drinks beer knows that you pee with force. It works for me and saved me a few hospital trips.  Hope that yours are gone and you're feeling better now .

I had my share of kidney stones, the best remedy I read is to drink acidic juice like lemons, oranges, grapefruits. I think I read that lemon juice is the best. I drank about a glass full of lemon juice, used a straw to bypass my tongue. It appeared to dissolve that stone.....Good Luck My Friend.

Lots of H2O. Lots. And a lemon a day (diluted, of course).
