OT - Pawpaw pollination question

To all the pawpaw growers:
I've been looking into adding different fruits into my backyard, I have limited space, everywhere I look it says plant two for proper pollination. Is it possible to plant one grafted tree and graft a few different varieties onto it and be able to set fruit?
I really don't want two trees and would love to have a pawpaw.
Thanks

Travis, from my reading in multiple sources(but not experience), yes you can graft multiple pawpaw varieties to one tree to get cross pollination.

That is my understanding too, mine are too young to fruit yet. I have seen some plant then on top of each other as an alternative to grafting, 2 or 3 plants in one larger hole. They are fly pollinated and fruit set can be poor, having flowers right next to each other will help.

You might also try a variety like Sunflower or Mary Foos Johnson.  They are supposed to be self-fertile.
