OT: plans for bypass valve for venturi pump?

I'm going to be putting a venturi pump (mazzei style injector) into the garden.  I'd like to build a PVC bypass valve, but can't find a set of directions/parts list on the 'net.  This isn't rocket science, but I failed rocket science.

I'd like the side that has the venturi to have a 'double connector' in the sense that I have various test pumps of different sizes that I'd like to plug in - if the PVC can have a stub section (of different sizes) that gets screwed in and has a connector on the other side, that solves my problem.

This should be a few lengths of PVC and various fittings - should be easy to find on the internet, but my googling skills have failed me.

This is the basic design of a bypass valve with a venturi attached - http://www.jedengineering.com/images/bypass.jpg

Anyone have plans/parts or better googling skills?

Phew! I thought you meant you were going in for a heart operation!
Anyway, I'm glad that's not the case.

I use two on my farm.  This is for a smaller set-up like what you might find useful.  My supply line is 1.5" PVC which I reduce to 1" and then 3/4", I believe, for the injector.  The 1.5" ball valve down partially hidden by weeds is used to divert flow through the line with the injector.

You would normally just have a 90 degree elbow in the upper left hand corner of this photo.  I have a hose big connection there for when I wanted to water/fertilize some seasonal vegetables.
