OT- Pomegranate the same soil as a figtree?

Hi Guys, sorry I am a little offtopic.

I purchased a pomegrate (punica granatum) today for a really good price...I couldn't resist. My question is, can I use the same type of soil I use for my figs or should I change something?
For my figtrees I'm using a mix that includes about 70% commercial gardensoil, about 25% perlite and about 5% pinefines.

For citruses I use more pinefines and less soil.

Thanks for your time!

either of you soil mixes should be fine to use on poms.

Thanks Barry I really appreciate your feedback.
I just upotted it in a "fig-type" mixture. I visited Turkey 2 weeks ago and you could buy fresh Poms everywhere. They are so beautiful trees!

They're not very fussy, just need a long summer to fruit, like some fig varieties. I have one hardy pom planted in ground, the rest are in pots.
