Have read some good things about fig leaf tea and can't wait to try it!  For now we have persimmon leaves and this is how I make it, time permitting on a sunny day!

That's four coroplast pieces, three with reflective surface and hinged with wire ties so it all folds away neatly.  The jar is spray painted black on the outside.  A handful of crushed leaves with hot tap water to start and a couple hours pointed at the sun it will slightly boil!

Handle the jar with a hot glove!  At this point I add some raw honey then add cool water to make a half gallon of refreshing tea I keep in the refrigerator...

Persimmon leaf tea is way good for us and I love it. Who has had fig leaf tea?  :)
