A few figs....

Yeah this was the first email I got with a notice about this thread too....

I hope somebody will bring Kesariani! I am looking for one. There will be a lot of figs on display and for the games we will be playing.

think there will be plenty of Lyndhurst Whites there. I think I have 8 of them.....5 in huge pots.

Thanks for pinging me Chris and others......I just repsonded to your emails. I have a lot mail going straight to my SPAM folder. I just filed your email to my Fig Fest folder. I will send out a list of attendee Sunday night with more info about the fest.

It's a good thing Dennis is having this fig fest because I have a lot of extras this year for trades, raffles ect.

Ha Ha.  I have your Lily Wong and Maltese Falcon for sure.

I lost a few more than I should have. I moved a bunch to the greenhouse.  Normally that would be a good thing but this year I was not there as much.  The orchids are much tougher than tender young figs when it comes to water. 
I think I lost the Violet Solliè but am holding on to it in case it sprouts again.
I think there are 2 or 3 Unk Peachys (maybe more).
There are more but I can't remember at the moment.
2-3 Lily Wongs and I'm not sure what else.  The mosquitoes have been so bad I just water and run and I still end up with a bunch of bites!  I think they think the OFF is a tenderizer.
Anyway I don't want to hijack Dennis's thread.  I'll post something this week on a new topic.

....Haven't been online much.  Just got back from a business trip to week in San Deigo and weekend drive to and from Nashvile TN--dropping my son off to grad school.  The loading and unloading the trailer and 12 hour round trip drive (and not to mention the 1 hour delay to the bridge construction on I-40W!!!!!) has taken a toll on me!  I finally got home at 9:30PM and some of my largest trees  needed water bad!  The 90 degree heat and humidity was just draining them!  So, I had to run out and water them at 10PM at night.

Boy I need a break!!!  I left my son in charge of watering details....he missed a few but they will come back.  

Picked some White Greek RK, Desert King, and Black Jack figs!  Will try to post pics later.  The high heat has them rocking and rolling now!

Hi Alan, I have 5 of them.  The youngest is 3 years old.  The others range in age from 6 to 3.

None of mine are in the ground.  All are in containers.  I tell people that it is a dwarf that must be protected over winter or it will die to the ground but comes back.

Ok gang, I got my Kesariani fig tree on Saturday! Yea!!!

And I'm gonna have to place a cap on this event----I can't take any more request. I got a lot of folks coming and I'm excited about meeting each of you. The final list of attendees will go out this weekend.
