Hi,

Quick up date.  House is nearing move in conditions.  The popcorn ceiling are no more.  I have spackled so many ceilings it hurts to type.  One closet to go.  One more ceiling to paint.  Then on to walls.  The house had a lot more work than we originally thought.  I never realized how well our home was cared for until I bought someone else house.  They must have had about 20 holes in every room.   They must have used a paint sprayer on all the walls because they have scary paint dripping everywhere.  Hopefully by this weekend we will be finishing up rooms and giving notice to the rental company.  So  for now the figs are on the back burner but as soon as house is done then gardens will start.

Good luck with the new crib! Hard work, pays off! I figured you were busy working on the house. We just finished painting our living room and hallway. I royally hate painting! Why? Because growing up every 4th of July my Dad had me painting the house. So, when I have to paint.....needless to say, I'm not happy. The wife's happy but now I gotta take vacation this week just to winterize my figs.

Good luck on your new home!  One thing I refuse to do, paint!  I am terrible at it and make a big mess!  Lol.

Still one more closet to go (spackling then painting) and it looks like someone almost put a foot through the closet ceiling from the attic.  Nice size crack....Spackle or replace...  Tonight was pulling up carpet.  Yikes I don't think the puppy they had was completely house broken.  Ewww.  Carpet now in rolls on porch awaiting disposal.  Must get cold beer to over come trauma of touching something with that many stains.

Yea. It's a lot of work. Its worth while when your finished though. Thanks for the pics. I'm still dreading remodeling the house I just bought that joins my property.
