Last year at work I won a Kindle Fire!! If I didn't win it I wouldn't buy it, a bit out of my price range. However, it's been a great little gadget and I've been trying to use it for all kinds of things. Work stuff, personal stuff, stuff stuff ;)
So I have a list on it for the grocery store. I went tonight to get a few things and brought the Kindle with me since my list is on it. Did my shopping, got everything on my list and went home. So, I'm putting the groceries away, taking out the garbage and recycling and whatever else I did to take an hour or so. I went to the car to get the Kindle and a few other things and the Kindle is NOT there in the car!!!!!!!!!! Holy crap I start to get worried - I lost it!
I decided to go back to the store thinking I left it in the shopping cart - I'm a regular at this one, and just asked the self checkout monitor if someone turned it in with a purple case - YES!!!! I asked if it was an employee, he said no it was just a good samaritan!!!! Wow! Isn't that great??
It's nice to know there are honest people amongst us. I wonder if they grow figs ---- hmmmmm.
