OT - Very painful injury

That first week I had the injury, I stayed home. That second week I drove work in pain.....45 min drive....wishing I was home in bed. The next, I stayed home and went to the doctor. The doctor told me not to go back to work. He gave me a 3 week excuse. The next day, I skyped my boss telling him I was bed ridden. He asked how bad was it, so I sent him that picture of my lower back. He said, WOW.....now I understand!

I did go back to work this week. It wasn't bad. The longer the drive, the quicker the pain begins again. It's been almost 4 weeks since the fall. The first 2 weeks weeks, my lower back was numb. Now, the numbness is gone and other parts of my spine are popping up with random spots of sharp pains. But they come and go. Spring has sprung here. My indoor trees are fully awake and I have to start moving them out. I got all out of the shed. Rain from the southwest is coming this way on Sunday. And I have to get these guys out and give them a dose of water and fertilizer. It's time to call my son over and put him to work. And I have about 10 trees to plant in my orchard and 23 PawPaw's to plant. BUT, I will take it slow.

Hope you're doing better, Dennis. Thought of you last night as I played the fig shuffle -- Birmingham got close to freezing last night. Man, as the pots get bigger and bigger, it's not fun at all.  Ready to get these bad boys in ground so I can let Mother Nature sort them out.  Hope NC weather is treating you kindly.

Rick,
The weather here has turned chilly but sunny. For instance it was chilly yesterday and today and temps are suppose to drop down to 36 tonight. But that's fine for fig but not ok for citrus. I have 6 citrus trees in large pots. I repotted 4 today to 10 gallon pots then my back started cramping up and I had to stop. Citrus can't take temps below 40 degrees but the day time temps will be in the 70s all week . I just hope it stays warm. I still got trees in my garage!
