Other great work that UC Davis is doing

WARNINIG! THIS ARTICLE DOES CONTAIN PICTURES THAT MIGHT BE UPSETTING BECAUSE IT'S ABOUT A DOG THAT NEEDS FACIAL RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY DUE TO AN ACCIDENT.

I came across this article and was surprised to see the name UC Davis.  I did not know they are a great Veterinary University also.

Thank you for the good link. Shows that sacrifice is not a human trait.

Sorry do not see how these pictures are upsetting. In fact this shows us and other the ability of animals to be something more than what the human race has labeled sole less and below our own species. If this is upsetting to you, I do  not know what to say as this dog as American would classify other humans, is a HERO.

Yes. very big veterinary program. See Here.

The photos are horrific, and I can't bear to think about the terrible suffering that poor animal must have endured. It's heartbreaking to see that poor dog.

However, I was very happy to read about the great Vet-programs that UC Davis has offered.  Thank God there are dedicated people who help these defenseless, loving, creatures.

May God have mercy on these poor animals, and bless those who try to help them.

Spam above Jon.

I found nothing wrong or upsetting with the photos or the article. I'm glad  you posted it . With all that is wrong with the world today , Its nice to read something about the  good things that people are doing . especially with animals. The article almost brought me to tears .

My wife and I have rescued , boarded and rehomed over 100 Large dogs ( Mastiffs)  over the past 8 years . Many come into our home with some sort of baggage . Be it  Abuse, neglect and or abandonment .Many were bought as cute little puppies but soon out weighed and out eat their owners. we try our best to bring them back to good health and hopefully find them for-EVER homes .

What an amazing story.  An amazing dog.

Thanks for posting this!  Amazing story and dog!  Last night I dreamed I was training a dog, and taking lessons at a golf course for that purpose.  Well, go figure, dreams are weird, but JD and I golf, and somehow that dog got into my dreams!  XOXOXOXOXO!!  Great story!!
