Hi, does anyone know if home depot will special order plants specifically fruit/fig trees? Thanks, I know some other types of stores do this and HD does it for other things.

I have delivered plant material to big box stores such as HD and others.
To my knowledge, most of the plant material is pre-ordered a year in advance and sometimes two years.

Especially if they are getting it direct from the farm. The farmer takes orders and plants accordingly.

That's not to say they will not try to accommodate you by trying to locate something from a local vendor.

I believe that they have certain restrictions on where they could ship plants. You will find warnings such as this:" Item cannot be shipped to the following state(s): AZ,CA,GU,HI,PR,VI"

Your best bet is to check with your local store and see what they have or what special orders they can make for you.

I called and they said yes! Yay! Thanks guys, I was just wondering of anyone already knew because I hate making phone calls. Ill have to go in next chance I get and find out what, specifically they can order :)
