pale green brown turkey leaves, is it a problem?

My cali brown turkey fig has developed a few very pale leaves.  Most of the leaves on the plant are green and fine.  The couple pale ones are in the center of the plant about half way up.  I am not sure if I should be alarmed.  Thoughts?

It just looks like an old leaf. Often a tree will drop some older leaves in the growing season. If it happens too often, check your watering or pot size. more water or a larger pot may be needed.

Looks like FMV

If possible a complete picture of the whole plant would be helpful.

With the watering issue as Barry stated. A little lime would be very helpful.

Edit: Don't know what happened there Martin but I deleted it

You already said that Rafed.

Which one is Barry and what is FMV?  :-)

the rest of the plant is very healthy and the leaves are standard healthy dark green.  Only this one and one other leaf are pale in this way, and I know that trees will lose leaves sometimes so I wasn't panicked.  I just wanted to play it safe and ask you folks.

Barry is BLB here on the forum

FMV is Fig Mosaic virus!

Fig mosaic virus is ubiquiteous in the fig world. It effects some trees more than others, but good culture helps the tree grow well. It is nothing to worry about, there isn't any known way to eliminate it, just grow your trees as best you can and enjoy the fruit. You may have fmv in those leaves but I still think they are showing age.

Sounds good, thanks folks!

I agree, FMV is a weird, scary word, but it is harmless!

Rock on!
