The Panache tiger fig I planted last year seems to be my best growing new fig tree.  It got almost no damage from last year where all the other new figs lost at least half of their growth if not more.  However there are no signs of figs on it yet.  The bush is now about 4 1/2 - 5 ' tall so when could I expect to maybe see some figs develop?  I'm in South Carolina zone 7b.  thanks for any info. 

You are saying the vegetative growth is good. I hope you have been doing pinching of the branches which help divert some of plant growth from vegetative growth to inducing fig embryo formation. If have not started then start doing it now and you should see results in a few weeks in the formation of fig embryos. Search with "Pinching" this forum and the GW fig forum and you will see many posts on the subject.
