PassingThe Time

OK i was staring at my trees one in particular soaking in its beauty and noticed the leaf had a little longer stem on it than some of my others .
So i decided to monkey around and do an airlayer just to see what if anything will happen.Yes i did fill cup with potting soil after this particular picture. It has until my plants get put away then i remove cup. No i do not believe anything will come of this thats almost a bet i could take as im not a betting person.
I have no ripe figs starting unlike last year at this time so i thought i would pass the time.

I bet it will not root and if it does (and even if it does not)) then you can have all the ripe figs after the fifth ripe fig on any of my plants in the same Zone as yours!

Ah Ha ,
you got me!

But be carful what you say on forum lots of eyes watching  as you stated
this

 ; )

then you can have all the ripe figs after the fifth ripe fig on any of my plants in the same Zone as yours!

So i take that as after you have eaten 5 ripe figs on any given plant the rest are mine.
Not after the 5th ripe fig on a branch or surely you would have stated that.
Im easy going though just keep the desert king figs as the skin looks to thick, you have any dark skin ones you will be sending at end of September?    ; )

I bet it (leaf) will not root...

George,
yes i agree .
Surely something would have been written about airlayering a leaf stem if it were possible.
