Pastillière - A controversial fig with remote origins

Traded a couple of my  figs with a friend in the south of France and he gave me among others,  this young  fig rooted in the spring of 2013, assuring that it is a genuine Pastillière aka Rouge de Bordeaux.
It's a small fruit but with great qualities.

Right! this one is not like yours
Being one of the first cultivars immediately after the breba's time, this fig is not exceptionally sweet but in compensation is full of berry flavors and much aromatic.

That blue blush is what a proper Pastilliere is supposed to have, but I think that's the only way this fruit looks different than yours.
