mmm yummy. they look great Paul!

Looking good Paul ,
Excellent photos .
Z2 looks nice I just picked one that looks just like it today , an unknown . Very sweet with a slight tangy ness and nice fig flavor but tree not much of a producer .
What do you think of the excell ?
These are all breba I gather ?
Keep the pics coming .

They all look nice.  What did they taste like?  Was Z2 the best?

Paul,
I am very interested in hearing info you can provide for Igo. I was given a couple of cuttings of this variety last winter by a very generous forum member, but managed to kill them. I hope to give Igo another shot in the future.

Paul I am curious how the Excel tasted??? I have a few growing in pots but no fruit this year.

Hi Paul,
how has the weather been this year in your area of BC.
Wondering because those figs look wonderful, and I know that generally coastal region of BC has cooler, wetter, but longer summers than we have here in ontario,
so those varieties would probably do well here
So far I have no ripe figs.

Excel tasted good but it will most likely have to make room for higher
quality taste variants. I got rid of 2 large Excel trees this season.

The weather this season is ideal for figs. Both winter & spring weather
have been good for figs. These figs are not grown in the green house.
This has been my best season for figs. The milder spring and maybe the
temporary car cover that I placed over my figs made a huge difference in
keeping breba embryos alive.

As is, I have moved a whole bunch of main crop figs into the green house. This
move is looking real good as the main crop figs appear to be primed ready.

They look tasty. Thank you for posting.

Z2 is an unknown that I discarded in the pile of unknowns. We were surprise
that it tasted good. It is a keeper for now.

Igo is the least tasty amongst the rest.
