Hi,
Very industrial and amazing - especially cutting the rootstock and scion.
Champagne is a region in northern France where the wine Champagne is produced.
The rootstock is resistant especially to their limestone dirt and phyloxera - a death sentence disease on vines .
They are assembling grafts and rootstock with a machine made "omega" graft and rooting then the rootstock.
I'm impressed that they are applying paraffin two or three times and removing the roots on the rootstock once ... Is that a stress test ?
Thanks for sharing.
