Perfectly ripe Barnissotte fig

I have to say this is the best fig to date.  If you scoop out the pulp and eat the skin separately it has its own sweetness to it.  It brings like a darker caramel sweetness to the part the pulp brings to it, if that makes sense. The more I look at this fig the more I like it.

By the way, could you please advise how you posted these photos?
I go through Photobucket but I just want to be able to click the photo and open it without the link going to the Photobucket account.  I asked about this in another thread. Thanks much. Leon

If you are posting a new topic click on attach files directly under the message box and you can upload a picture directly from your computer.  Make sure to edit the size of the photo so it's not to large.  If you are adding photos to a reply you have to click on more reply options to get the attach files function.

That's one ugly looking fig, but inside looks so pretty
