Your spider is very pretty (since it is a she). I used to raise old world chameleons so I used to buy crickets by the 1000 which was really cheap. I think I used a place with worm farm in the name. Of course I raise lots of other bugs for them too since chammies do not live on crickets alone. I'm am glad we do not have brn recluse here as I have hear nothing good about them although I did not think they were common. The widows have been hard enough to get used to and the idea of copperhead being common. In NJ they were very rare.
In N TX we have Brown Recluse also, and rattlesnakes and I think copperheads EWW. I had rats and rat snakes in my attic crawl space!! Key word - HAD!!In my limited experience, usually if something has a mouth, it could bite!
