Peters Honey in Toronto

Totally getting off topic here, but I finally gave up the VW thing this year, so VW and I are no more.  Got a hot deal on a 2010 BMW 535i (twin turbo), just couldn't pass it up.  Normally you're upside-down on the loan in vehicles for the first 3 years, I could turn around and sell this one for a nice profit.

Would've loved to have it in a diesel, but BMW is just getting to a point where they're actually releasing diesel vehicles stateside, and they don't have any of the ones I want, and for whatever reason (US emissions standards, probably), they don't get the stellar mpg that they get overseas.

Update pic taken this morning, this fig is a different shape than all the other figs on the tree and also the only one that has turned this dark, was green on saturday when I was at my parents today its purple. Eye open and huge I can nearly fit the tip of my pinky in the eye. Also this is the biggest fig I have ever seen in person. Hope it does not rain or else I think it might spit.

It has a huge eye.

Joe

You may make a BT out of this tree yet.

John this is definately not a Peters Honey thats for sure, the other figs are starting to get a slight shade of purple on them as well and not as flat as this one, I will take pics of the fig with a quarter next to it later tonight. I have a fellow fig friend here in Toronto who has a Monrovia Brown Turkey and its a match not sure how good these taste he seems to like them. I will have to wait and see for myself.

i believe it is a BT indeed.  let me post a pic of one i have on the tree right now, it has a gaper goatse-size of an eye also, larger than most, like it could split at any time

btw, i contacted the nursery i bought my tree from 4 years ago out of curiosity, and indeed, my BT is from Monrovia as well.

so, i guess we must have some sibling trees ;)
