I am going to give this neglected tree a real good pruning and will have several cuttings to whomever wants them for the postage. Usually $4-$5 postage gets about 3-5 cuttings.

Both my PH or not, were gifts of 6 y.o. trees, both said not to produce figs at all, on their first year with me, I bent their limbs to force them to grow new branches and I got a few Brebas ( see the larger one with purple lining in pulp on this posting)

I got several main figs, but slowly they dropped and few ripen on the larger branched tree (suffocated in a wine barrel and was never trimmed)- this will received the drastic pruning to rejuvenate its growth( it is my attempt to save it)

the other tree produced 2 brebas identical to the other tree and has a good crop of main figs.. they are ripening now. Main are a bit smaller but very sweet.    Nothing wrong with them.  I think this variety would do much better in a warmer climate.

Should anyone be interested, please let me know by PM, as I will be trimming the first tree very soon.
