Peter's Honey .....Yum

Went out in the backyard and spied a fat "Peter's Honey" quickly snatched it off the tree! I know the dark Figs with the bright red centers of certain Figs looks more appealing than this one, but I will promise you this, if you don't have this Fig, do yourself a favor and get one! This one is absolutely amazing and delicious.....sooooo SWEET.. My tree is only 16 months old and it's loaded with fruit....:)

Beautiful, Frank! I have one also with almost ripe figs. Can't wait.

Looks real good, Frank.  I love the honey figs too.

My PH has a purple line between the skin and pulp, thus, Kiwibob asserts is it not Peter's Honey.   Even though mine may be a fake, I like the flavor.   It would be interesting to compare them side by side.  Yours look beautiful

Grasa, do your leaves look like Frank 's. That is a text book PH leaf and 90% or more will hold that shape.

Calvin, I am leaf clueless, for some reason...  unless they have long fingers, I really cannot tell their difference, except by touch texture, some are thin, sandy, velvety, etc. The leaves of my fig tree are  from one to 7 lobes and borders are all picked, serrated, smooth edge, all over the place.  I cannot tell the difference by the leaves.

I have 2 PH. and both have the purple outlining, Both are very good, both slow growers, both likely fake...

Frank, Peter's Honey looks so yummy indeed.

Grasa, if it has that many lobes you can be sure what you have is not PH.

I got 2 PH. One of them is in the second year and two brebas are hanging. Hopefully I will get a chance to try them. Looks amazing frank.
