Marius, I am interested in the differences between the 2.  Which one is larger and more cold hardy?  Also can you give ma a taste comparison?  Thanks

Hi Ed. Violette de Bordeaux is bigger in size, but Petite Aubique is more productive and early ripening. They taste identical, realy GOOD figs, but like i said,i had more than 60 figs on my 2 years old(in pot) Petite Aubique.Regarding how cold hardy they are,I have both of them inground also, and they die 80% every winter with a light protection,so...they are not cold hardy.  Marius
