Got the first fig from my Petite Negra today.  This one is a keeper.  Has a mild berry-ish flavor, thin skin, no crunch.  This tree is about a year old now.  Still has a few figs on it that will probably ripen up in the next week or so.
   

A nice looking little fig!  Mine aren't showing any signs of getting ripe yet. The first few dropped off so I'm hoping the rest stay on. 

Sorry to hear you missed out on a couple of them!  This is a pretty good one, not really intense flavor, but good.  I'll keep my fingers crossed for yours to ripen up!

I also got my 1st Pettite Negri this year from a gifted plant.  It tasted great, sweet and a strong berry taste.  It was twice as big as my VdB but tasted identical.
It seems to look slightly different from yours.  Maybe I picked a day or 2 later or it could be the photo lighting?  Or Negri a different variety than negra?

I think you are probably a day or so more patient than I was!  Yours looks great!  I took the photos in full sun, so there is some glare.

Petite Negra is probably Aubique Petite, not Petite Negri.
