Came to me as Kure Beach. Not sure what it meant and I have no idea how ittaste. First time ripening. Looks productive. Got it in a trade from stranger whocame to my house and wanted a trade. He has no idea what it is as he got it as per name. Anyone knows anything about it. Background 2 gal pot is home to KB tree. Hope this is a good tasting one. Of courseit would be nice if someone can id this fig.
There is a Kure Beach in North Carolina, near Wilmington.I have no idea what it is, but it sure looks good!Pix of leaves,a ripe one's eye, and a ripe one cut in half from stem to eye can help the experts identify it.
Paul, There was a very large fig found in Kure Beach, NC by i believe f4f member barnhardt9999, or it could have been jlp. Maybe this is your fig. I look forward to hearing about it when you taste it.
