Pic Latarrula/Ital Honey - 25th July 2014 In PNW

Have been harvesting figs for about 9 days from it. Wife disagree that I should remove
tree for another variant. She cited "friends" like it. A reliable and productive variant for PNW..
Main crop is smaller in size and taste better. Reason for me wanting to give away tree is
I want space for more yummie variants than it. My in-ground Latarrula/Italian Honey is
over 7 years old - produces hundreds of brebas and we pick them mainly for friends.

Wow!  Prolific tree!  Years ago, I bought Italian Honey from Gurneys online.  Turns out it was VDB instead.  Guess I should have pursued that variety harder, but you and your wife don't like it?  Hmmmmmmmm

Suzi

Suzi, we are spoilt by some outstanding variants. Thanks to friends like Nelson, Adriano, Akram, Chivas etc. I eat less than 5 Latarrula's in a year.

Nice looking tree!

Too bad the wife doesn't like it. Just bought a small tree from an eBay seller about 3 weeks ago and can't wait for it to mature.
