Ruby has pasty like texture, not watery and a well balanced level of sweetness. Its taste
is close to Falicciano - exception is Falicciano is slightly more juicy than Ruby4.





How was the German red? It looks tasty.

I'm curious about this one as well!

German Red has gone very good. It is one variant that got better after 4 yrs. This year it really surprises me. In the past, it had not tasted extraordinary other than good. I was not sure whether to give it away in March. I am glad I did not. This tree is much root bound. It will get a new pot & fresh dirt next season. Given the neglect, this variant produces 9 brebas.
