Pic's Sal's leaves

Anyone has pictures of Sal's leaves?  I have seen the picture in Encanto and my newly rooted plant Sal's(Gene) leaves is skinny -- so different from the pic in Encanto. Appreciate if anyone can post pictures of Sal's leaves for comparison.

Paully,

I do not have any readily available pics but leaf shape will vary greatly from a newly rooted cutting to a mature plant. For example, I have several varieties that the first few leaves (particularly the first 4-5) do not resemble the mature ones at all. One plant has no lobes on early leaves but 5 lobes on more mature leaves. Give it some time and then compare again.

Paully22,
im not sure what type Genes strain is, if you go to this thread its of EL. Sals i posted a while back.

Leaves on newly rooted cuttings are not always a good indication of mature leaf shape. Be patient.

Paully22,

Here are pics of my Sals leaves. Al sent me cuttings last year (2008). As you can see, last year's leaves are a bit different from this years.

Thanks a bundle Sue. My newly rooted suppose to be Sal's(Gene) leaves  does not resemble your newly rooted 2008 cuttings. Mine are skinnier & longer closely resembling my newly rooted Petite Negri from the same source.  Well, time will tell within the next 2 to 3 months as I have set the new plants into 1 gal to 2 gal pots from 32 oz cups. The higher compost soil mix I have in their pots will help to shed more light with the help of your pictures.
