Another yummy fig -- got to be fully ripen in hot weather. Has a starchy/paste like texture. Every season it ripens most main crop for me. The wife likes this over O'Rourke. Tree is in-ground andnever protected in winter.
Really nice Paul, congrats.
Wow! The life is good without the birds and tree rats! Very nice looking figs.
Paully where in the world is Nebo from?
Mount Nebo in Jordan? I've been there but didn't notice the fig tree! Moses never mentioned it either, I believe. :)
My Nebo came from Prof.M.Bostock. He got it from a collecter in Toronto who was once well known in Garden Web fig forum. There are lots of ethnic figs in Toronto, over here too.ha ha Harvey.
Paul,Is it this Bostock?http://www.eos.ubc.ca/about/faculty/M.Bostock.html
