Picture - Osborne Prolific 17th Sept 2014

Main crop is tasty, certainly sweet. Produces a large main crop. Another reliable main crop tree for my
zone. My Osborne Prolific tree is an in-ground variant with no winter protection. It is my largest main
crop producer. Would post picture on its interior tomorrow.

Another beauty.

I think I might try this one in ground next year. My potted one hasn't fruited for me yet. Thanks for the pics and info Paully

I have a couple of this variety, something to look forward to in next year's harvest.

I have been growing this variety since 2010 I have not sampled any figs yet to be honest I don't even think it's formed any figs.

Giving it one more season, me and my Osborn prolific gonna have a serious chat

Thanks for posting this + numerous other recent reports Paully - the info you share is valuable and appreciated! My OP is from the good professor. Does that mean mine is related to yours? My OP is in it's 2nd year in a 12 g pot with plenty of branches and despite pinching only has 3 figs this year. I suspect this variety, like DK and alma takes a few more years to set a good crop?

Hi Pauly22,
Nice fig.
I have one in ground since last month - first time I had my eyes on one .
Hoping the production is well described by the name : PROLIFIC !
How prolific is yours ?

Thanks Paully, I was wondering about this variety, nice to know it is so good in taste and production. Thanks for the info.
