To late i deleted them as well from computer to gain space, i dont worry though as i have the best picture of all right in my yard. Nice thing i can always take more and bore the folks here. I cant wait to taste my hardy chicago and EL sals this year and compare again the taste as i said before last year the HC tasted better to me when in years past it was other way around but i have a feeling the hc will do it again this year. They both have a lot of unripe figs going to look at when they ripe for me last year.

Aha   reading what i wrote last year in my notebook i started ,my unripe figs on my el sals tree were July 18 then 15 ripened the family ate between aug 13 - 24, 5 more aug25
5 more aug 26 then from aug 29 thru sep 30 we had eaten about 150 from this 1 tree. also i read about swatting and hoseing a lot of bee's from tree and some cracking cause there was a lot of rain during this time.
Chicago Hardy i read did not say when first unripe fig appeared......hmmm..
but the family ate a total of 61 from Sept 6th thru sept 30 and it said the fig taste was very good better than the el sals. Maybe it tatsed better cause the other tree did not like so much rain when the figs were getting ripe a little earlier than the hc.Will see this year how they go.
