Pictures - Brunswick Main Crop 17th Sept 2014

For years never enjoyed this variant as they split with rain -- souring. I wanted this variant gone
but did not get to do the job. But this year, Brunswick breba ripens under ideal conditions of hot sunny weather and the wife discover what an awesome fig it can be. I never bothered and at her encouragement, I sample the fig she picked, it turned out to be the best tasting breba fig. Now the main crop is starting to ripen .....hope its taste is awesome. Main crop fig is smaller in size than the breba but tree makes up in higher yields.

Congrats on the beautiful crop and your sunny warm summer!

Hey Paul, your Brunswick looks good I agree with the flavor of Brunswick. Under ideal climates it is a great tasting fig even when I had mine same issues under wet weather they split and soured as did greek Kephlonia and Doree all three are very good.

They look so darn good, hopefully the main crop will be rewarding as well, please give us an update.
