Being growing LSU Improved "not" for years. I observed this variant is similar to LSU St Gabriel in taste, ripening time & colour . Hope someone growing both variants can confirm.

This is my Ororkie not. St Gabrail did fruit yet. Bad rain for one month turned my figs to mush.
This is my Improved Celeste, haven't seen an Improved Celeste as dark as yours Paully. Looks good tho.
