Please tell me this is a Figlette?
After pinching a week ago, my 7 year old Glendale Court fig tree from seed, looks like ...fig?

Leaf bud, sorry.

I pinched the two trees I bought last week. That was 7 days ago. I can already see small figlets forming on several of the nodes below where it was pinched. It seems like pinching is the key to maximizing fruit!

Hi Aaron4usa,
Can't tell for now .

can't tell.. it could be one or the other. let it ride for little longer. i watched my KB putting things on waiting for the figs.. when i thought they were figs, they turned into new branch. if it's another branch, pinch it off later.

Hey Aaron, have you thought about under-notching to get the fruit going? Here is a good article about the different notching techniques

Daniel, thanks for the info, i'll see how it goes and i might try that too, just for the fun of it ;)

Here some updates on Pinched Branches...
Seems like there are more and more double growths, I am assuming one is fig and other a branch...or, is it possible to have double branches from one leaf site?
I think my 7 year old finally will give in and let me have a fig. What you think WillC ? ;)
