i wonder if there is any significant importance to pine bark mulch in particular that most of us use in our mix's.
i never see anybody using or recommending any other mulch kind... ceder,maple or whatever
i know it helps the medium retain less water. i recall when i first started and got advice from few of you, no one knew to say why we need pine as oppose to other mulch varieties
pine is a little harder to find at least where i am located. i now have my source so its no problem. i just wonder if there is anything else with pine that i am missing out on
