Congrats! It must produce lots of yummy figs for you!

Pretty. Always nice to see them wake up, especially after a rough winter.

I wish you could see my five year old that we topped and root pruned for the move here.  OMG!  Every day it pops out new growth from it's many 2" thick trunks!  They don't seem to come from nodes, but when a trunk gets that large and hardened, you just can no longer see the nodes.  One smooth surface, and these little red nubs (they start red) pop up and soon leaves appear.

I am also in zone 7b, but I am still waiting on my figs to wake. The three in ground have not shown any sign of life yet, except that they still appear green under the bark by the bases of them. I sure hope they wake soon. I am getting worried.

Nice. I hope you don't get a late frost . Here until 10th of May ... We can still get frost - on normal years. This year starts warmer as usually seen...

no worry about frost from here on out. lowest temp will be on wed at 38 F. reset of the yr till the end of season should be above 40.
