--- Pix: Adriatic Breba

I tried the first breba this season, from an Adriatic cutting from Grasa that I started last year.
The weight was 60 grams, the taste was very very good. Slightly acidic, like a strawberry jam, a bit crunchy. Surprisingly, the color is not very red inside, but maybe it is because this is a breba or maybe it needed an extra day (I couldn't risk it, the squirrels were watching). It was quite soft on touch when I collected it, no latex on a cut.

looks delicious Igor. I am also growing that strain from Grasa, I'm glad to see it develop with you.

Very nice. Thanks for sharing.

I am happy you wisely beat the squirrels to it, Igor!  :-)

Igor,
I notice you are peeling back the skin, is it tough or is that just your preference?

Tami, neither. It, somehow, naturally started separating when I cut it quarters. And it was convenient to hold it like that for a photo shoot.
I eat the figs whole :)

Looks good, nice pictures. Thanks for sharing.

Nice!  I have 1 breba also but of course it's 2 months behind yours  :)
