Flushing in '83? And this year is the 50th anniversary of the Fair! :-)

Strange, my Noir de Spain don't show fruit yet but my Morus alba 'Oscar' is ripening fruit quickly now!

My small (5-gal) white Iranian mulberry (name unk) has already fruited and been devistated by the (mocking)birds...I didn't even get one. I have a red Pakastani in-ground that hasn't fruited yet and one unknown given to me bare root last winter by my neighbors who got it from a friend...it was a sucker. I know nothing about this one...love surprises! I'm hoping they will get some info on it from their friend but I'm not pushing the matter. Also lost my first dark fig to the birds...grrr.

This is my 2nd or 3rd year of my mulberry fruiting and I don't think the birds are familiar with it yet so I haven't noticed them eating any of my fruit yet.  Quite amazing.

well harvey, that's the only mulberry giving me anything at this time. the humidity bin is full of cuttings with no sign of roots but bursting with buds breaking open. i'm hoping if i leave them alone for few more weeks, either they are going to start rotting or start rooting.
