Planter alert!

Hey everyone. I just walked out of the Lowe's store in Loganville GA with 6, 21inch planters at $5.95 each. Three colors to choose from (lime, pink, blue). They look pretty durable. Thought I'd let you all know. They also had a new shipment of fruit trees . Thanks for reading.

You're a stud.  I'm in the same region and I will sooo be stopping by lowes on my way home.  I've been wondering when fruit trees come in. **insert devious and slightly evil smile here while rubbing hands together creepily**

A shipment of fruit trees in February. ... you're killing me Chris!  I'll still be waiting a couple months. Though I did order 13 non-figs on line this year, putting me up to 52... wahoo!!!!

Worth checking them out at least. Here's a pic. Good luck Brett.
Sorry Scott. Lol, one of the perks of living in the south!
52??? I do not see you moving any time soon!

Lol, all but 14 are living in pots until the move. .. then BAM. .. instant orchard! !

I've spent a good  amount time in the south in spring, I always love to look, never know what i might find and ship home.

And yes. .. 52.... what can I say, I have a problem.

ChrisK,

Any idea on what all they had fruit wise?  I'm an equal opportunity buyer in the market for just about any goodies I can get (much to the dismay of my girlfriend, I fear) :-D

Nice.
Having a problem going back to the forum page. I tap on the "forum" on top of the page and I get on a blank page that says 404 NOT FOUND.
Any ideas?

That is strange, I've seen the 404 error before, it is usually the local server.

I am experiencing no issues.

Lots of peach trees( dwarf ) , a few nectarines, two kinds of cherries(Lapins, and I think Bing), a few Apple varieties, pear and plumb(dwarf). Maybe more ,I did not pay much attention, I found the Lapins cherry I have been looking for for some time now so... No figs yet!

It's funny because I can google stuff and all, i can get to the page that I visited before or through my e mail alert auto connection, but I cannot go to the forums page. Go figure!

That is rather odd Chris.

Scott,
What is this non-Fig variety you're talking about?  Is this a new Fig cultivar you've discovered?  You have to tell us more about this fig, the Non-Fig.  Perhaps it is of french origin, non? ;-)
Cheers,
Jim

Yes, they are the first figs to taste like stone fruit, thus preventing the need for any trees other than fig trees.

Thanks for the alert we diffently need some. Hope they have the sale in Louisiana. We are going to check
