It looks like you're promoting the rooting systems with all that cutting. Do you need to leave a few leaves for them to survive?  Also, how large do you let the roots get prior to transplanting?

I take cuttings from dormant plants. Less headache...

When I see roots hanging out from the holes of the plastic then I will change to bigger one...

sweet simple and straight forward, sometimes thats all that is needed.

What grow media are you using?  How often do you water?

Peatmoss-based media. Shelter from rain, for the first 1-2 weeks spray only.
