Please help identify this fig!

Can someone help me identify the type of fig I have here?  I have posted 3 pictures of this fig.  It is one lf the largest fig I have ever seen, it is green in color when ripe, the inside is pale pink, it had almost no "neck", and it has large, open "eye" on the bottom.  My father planted this tree, and we lost him before it ever bore fruit.  This is the first year's crop and we were shocked at the size and shape of this fruit when it appeared.  We live in southern Alabama, and the tree only produced about 6 figs so far this year.
Thank you for your time!

It is a beautiful fig with unique shape and colour (if it is a true representative of its type). Someone having this may be able to identify it without seeing the leaf structure; however, it will be a lot easier for many other to help in identification if you can add a picture of a mature leaf that is the most common shape on the plant.

Can't be sure with such little clues, but it has the shape of a LSU Gold. Hope this helps.
"gene"

This is a beatiful memory of your father.
The shape does look like lsu gold, which comes from louisiana.

LSU Gold IMO, It will produce very well from what I have seen on mine. It is also a fast grower.
