Please help leech problem or leech looking thing

Ok I've posted B4 with the yellow leaf problem, I have 30 trees and im doing the exact same thing on all of them self watering pots bi monthly fertilizer, and they are all doing amazing, except the leaves on my white Texas ever bearing, I noticed alot of ant on this tree, and none of my others, so about 3 days ago I noticed ants in a very exact spot on a leaf for a couple days in a row, it appears they are eating this leech thing on the leafs and leaf stems, and they ar not on any other trees, and I have no yellowing on any other trees, they look lime micro horse shoe crabs, like a perfect oval looking thing, what are they are they the cause of the yellowing?? Thanks

Looks like a scale insect. The ants are attracted to the "honey dew" produced by the scale insect. The honey dew can then turn into sooty mold on the leaves. Some soft scales can be treated with neem oil but watch the weather so it's not too hot. the crawler stage is the most vunerable time of the insect and treatments work best.

Scott, that link makes me want to ralph.

Oh thanks man that's exactly what they are! So just spray neem oil on them? And why are they on only one of 30 trees??? Can they spread to my other trees. Is that the cause of the yellowing and dying leaves. Thanks again
Big help guys!!!

Not feeling the scale Calvin?

LOL

Neem should do it.  The Ants are farming them, yes they WILL spread if not taken care of. The are sucking the life from the tree.
